To better prepare for your visit to Rayburn Resort, please ensure you read and understand our polices (rules and guidelines) below.

Lodging Policies

The following lodging policies are for The Lodge at Rayburn, Lakeside Cottages and Cove Cottages.

NO SMOKING: All rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed outdoors only in designated areas. Any violations will result in an additional charge of $150 which will be used to restore the room to a smoke free environment. If you smoke on the porch outside your room you must close the door to the room to prevent smoke from entering the room which which will deemed a violation and subject to the $150 charge.

DAMAGES: Guest will be responsible for any damages caused to rooms and furnishings along with charges for the replacement of all missing items. This includes damaged and/or missing linens. Additionally, a deep cleaning fee of $75 may be applied to any room based on the condition of the room upon checkout.

PETS: Pets must be reported at check-in. Only pets 50 lbs. and under are allowed with a two pet maximum. The charge is $39 per pet / per night for The Lodge and $49 per pet / per night for Lakeside Cottages and Cove Cottages. The Lodge has a limited amount of room for pets and all pets must be approved by management PRIOR to check-in. If pets are not reported at check-in the charge is $40 per pet for each night. NO PETS ARE ALLOWED IN SUITES – unreported pets will result in an additional charge of $25O per stay.

PET DEPOSIT: We require a $100 deposit for pets. After checkout, the room will be inspected and the deposit will be released / refunded if the room left in good condition with no damages. However, if the room is damaged, the deposit will be held to address the damages caused.

Outdoor Event Policy

  1. Rayburn Country will advertise the dates and times of scheduled live music performances/events.
  2. On Mondays through Thursdays, hours of operation of live music performance/events by Rayburn Country will be until approximately 11:00 p.m.
  3. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, hours of operation of live music performances/events by Rayburn Country will be approximately Midnight.
  4. Recorded music may be played Monday through Thursday by Rayburn Country until approximately 11:00 p.m. and Friday, Saturday and Sunday until approximately Midnight.
  5. At Rayburn Country, the targeted decibel limit of live and recorded music will 102 dBA and Rayburn Country will take reasonable steps to maintain that limit.
  6. Because of the close proximity of private residences and homes to the site of music performance/events at Rayburn Country as well as other outdoor gatherings (such as weddings, meetings, parties, celebrations, etc.), Rayburn Country is committed to being a good neighbor by adopting this Policy and by respecting the privacy of the surrounding neighborhoods.
  7. Staff have the right to refuse any item not listed that they deem an annoyance or unsafe.
  8. Soliciting or vending of any kind is not permitted on the Resort Grounds without proper authorization by management.
  9. Purchasers of alcohol are required to show valid ID every time.

The following items are prohibited for all events.

  • Weapons, including firearms, regardless of permit to carry
  • Animals with the exception of service animals
  • Outside food and beverages
  • Laser pointers
  • Portable televisions and radios
  • Fireworks and aerosol cans
  • Illegal substances

Rayburn Resort & Marina Code of Conduct

Rayburn Resort & Marina is committed to Protecting the Fun by providing a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all guests. To help us fulfill our commitment, we ask that you honor this code of conduct. The following behaviors or acts are NOT permitted at Rayburn Resort & Marina

  • Carrying firearms, ammunition, knives, and weapons of any kind and any other prohibited item. Rayburn Resort & Marina reserves the right to prohibit any items at their discretion.
  • Unsolicited photographing or video recording that disrupts a guest’s experience or interferes with park operations
  • Unruly or disruptive behavior that interferes with guests’ enjoyment of the park including running, the incitement of running, and blocking midways and exits.
  • Fighting or physical aggression of any kind, including verbal and physical assaults
  • Acts or behavior that park management determines is a safety concern or that interrupts park operations or guests’ experience
  • Harassing/threatening behavior, sexual misconduct, or lewd behavior including inappropriate interaction with park guests or associates
  • Offensive language or gestures
  • Clothing with offensive language, obscene gestures/graphics, or nudity or clothing that does not sufficiently cover undergarments
  • Intoxication or substance impairment that results in irresponsible behavior
  • Entering restricted areas including but not limited to behind-the-scenes areas
  • Theft of any kind
  • Selling park tickets or soliciting and distributing literature not sponsored by the park
  • Refusing to follow verbal or printed instructions or cooperate with park personnel or security

Children/Teens – Notice to Parents & Guardians

Parents or guardians are responsible for the behavior of their minor children. Appropriate behavior and supervision are the responsibility of the parent/guardian and is always expected. We require that minors (under 18) be accompanied by an adult. The park does not assume any responsibility or liability for unattended minors. Parents/guardians may be held legally liable for all acts of the children under their care.

Personal Conduct

Conduct deemed by Rayburn Resort & Marina to be inappropriate for the peace and good order of the park, guests, or associates, and which may adversely affect the safety of others is not permitted. Anyone who violates the Code of Conduct may be subject to ejection without refund. Guests are encouraged to report any violations of the Guest Code of Conduct or suspicious activity to the nearest Rayburn Resort & Marina associate. Rayburn Resort & Marina reserves the right to revise or modify this Code of Conduct without notice.

Rayburn Resort & Marina Park Rules

  • No outside food or beverages
  • No lifeguard on duty – swim at your own risk
  • No unattended minors
  • No horseplay
  • No profanity
  • No loud speakers
  • No fishing
  • No pets allowed on the beach
  • No glass or breakable objects
  • No weapons, explosives, or fireworks
  • Marina is not responsible for loss of valuables or other personal belongings
  • Marina reserves the right to remove anyone from the park
  • All guests must honor the park’s code of conduct
  • In case of emergency dial 9-1-1

Splash Waterpark Rules

  • No access to children under 5 years of age
  • No access to people under 3’7”
  • Must wear life vest
  • No diving (Depth is 4’)
  • No horseplay
  • No food or drink
  • No access after dark
  • Must return life vest

Rayburn Resort & Marina Information and Guidelines

Appropriate Attire
Clean and appropriate swimwear is required. Thongs and transparent clothing are not permitted. We reserve the right to determine the appropriateness of swimwear. Guests wearing bathing attire with metal buttons, rivets, zippers, or snaps will not be permitted to enter the Splash Waterpark.

Sun Safety
Rayburn Resort & Marina provides a full day of fun in the sun! To make the most of your day, be sure to drink plenty of water to avoid heat exhaustion. Don’t forget to apply sunscreen frequently throughout the day. If you happen to forget your sunscreen, our Outfitter Store has a variety of sunscreens available for purchase.

First Aid
Our First Aid facilities are located at the guest services office. If you need any assistance during your visit, do not hesitate to stop by a First Aid Station. Our team would be glad to assist.

Cabana and Chair Rentals
Relax and enjoy the privacy of your own cabana. A limited number of exclusive cabanas are available each day and often sell out. We also offer chair rentals for those long days on the beach. For more information and to reserve your cabana or chairs, please visit guest services.

Outfitter Services
For our adventure enthusiast, we offer an array of water sports rentals. From canoes and kayaks, to paddle boards we have the equipment you need. For more information and to reserve your preferred equipment, please visit the Outfitter Store.

Splash Waterpark
Splash Waterpark is a floating aqua park obstacle course available to persons over the age of 5. Challenge your friends through the course by sliding, bouncing, and crawling through the water without splashing into the water.
