Construction on Rayburn County Resort’s championship golf course started in 1968 with the Gold being the first set of nines designed by Jay Riviere. The Blue nines joined the golf course in 1972 with the designed by Robert Trent Jones. The Green was the last nines to join the golf course in 1979 with the design by Robert von Hagge. Each of the nines is nestled in the tall pines of East Texas providing shade in the summer and a unique playing atmosphere that makes Rayburn Country Resort’s golf course one of the best in Texas!
